Yeah, I understand being too aggressive isn't good either.
I hit two of the wheels with compound and then some polish...about 4-5 times with the compound and 3-4 with the polish. Here are some pics of the after, this is the worst wheel that is shown in the original post. ![]() ![]() ![]() Where should I go from here? More compound? More polish? I did this by hand but can get a buffer and see how that goes. |

Those scratches are deep I suggest you invest in a dual action polisher like the Griots Garage and get some 4" uber yellow and green pads man along with the Uber 3" backing plate. Then just use the compound with the yellow pads and the polish with the greens, not sure which compound or polish your using. Hey at least this way you can now have a Dual action polisher to polish your silver V6
