Well, despite my recent machine failure on this car I still finished the car out for free.

My camera is terrible.

Rotary and DA for certain spots
3M Superbuff III wool pad
Kompressor and CCS pads in 6", 5.5", and 4"
M105
M205
Ultrafina
Dodo Juice Lime Prime
Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid
various brushes
lots of tape
303 Aerospace on trim

Before pics were slim to none. I had a deadline I had to meet so pics weren't snapped until it was clear I would finish on time.

The paint as seen in the 50/50 shot was basically like that all over.
I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking.

How do you know this guy? Did he ever get that spot fixed?

SWEET job as well man! I have been putting off detailing my car for too long now. I have to do it soon.

Spot isn't fixed as of yet. He's got a few painters he's talking to right now and we're figuring out the best course of action.

He contacted me through autogeek forums a few years back to detail his Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.

Not bad at all you actually got it done quite quickly I would say.

Yeah. Despite how bad the paint was, it cooperated on most panels. The hardest part was working all of the small curves. There were quite a few places I had to fold up a 4" pad and do it by hand working slowly and back and forth for a solid 10 minutes to get it right.

The hood, minus a few RIDS, came out after one pass with the rotary and wool.

I could imagine the quarter panels and ducts being a bit of a pain to work with but, that is why I invested in these two for my Flex PE 14-2 rotary

(see links below) I also invested in several 4" Uber pads in various cuts as well as some 3.5" PFW pads for the small areas that need extra work. The next thing I am going to get for tight area like those is a custom made extension that is 3 to 4 inches made out of aluminum. I am going to go to a machine shop and see how much it will run me to fabricate it will need to be able to thread into a 3/8" spindle. It will be handy in all those areas I know several pros who have them and they come in very handy especially when working on exotics.

Car looks great. I would love to get some customers with exotics that really appreciate our work. For the most part I've been doing pre-sale cars, and then trucks. Nothing were customers are willing to pay for perfection.
