Got Wax On My Black Trim. Help?

The other day I was waxing my car, I got wax on the black plastic trim along the windsheild and a touch on the mirror.

Of course now I have shit in the black. How do I get it out? What can I use to clean it?

I havent tried my wax&grease remover on it yet. Would that work? What are my options?

Ive found liquid polish to work on paint and even on the trim.
Leaves no fade and a nice slick look.

Its no better

It does look a little worse in the pics than it is in person.

Is there anything I can do or am I looking at repainting the pieces/replacing them?

That wax probably has a pretty good grip on that textured surface. Usually a grease remover will work. Maybe painting those pieces white to match would be a nice touch on the car. I hate plastic trim. Especially when wax is involved.

3m general purpose adhesive remover WILL remove it. Trust me I've come across much worse than ghat. You have really apply the product on the trim and the mf towel you're using. Some elbow grease never hurts.

That's why it takes me quite a while to wax... i also have flat/matte black on my hood and wing, which makes it take longer

You have a really nice Gt man I suggest get the 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover a can is like $10 some of the best body solvent you can get. Many professional detailers use it and like Zinc said it can easily remove that. I used it per his recommendation and I always keep a can handy. You can also try a pink eraser and erase the wax off then you will have to re wash sue to the eraser particles left over. Or a little bit of peanut butter...yes thats not a mistake it actually works just apply a little to a microfiber then agitate the trim. You will have to rewash the surface after. The oils in the peanut butter breaks down wax residue.
