Paint Scratches

one of my buddies came over today he has a sb 04 gt, and it has a ton of scratches, do they show real easy on that color or what? like its pretty bad, how many of those lighter scratches can be corrected by hand? what about with a PC? a repaint is prolly out of the question, some seemed even all the way through, and what about where places have been poorly touched up?

Pics please.

Darker colors show imperfections easier because they have more depth. Touch ups can be done very well if in the right hands. The touch up paint is normally darker until it's wetsanded, leveled, and polished out on a rotary. You'd never be able to tell the difference most of the time.

Sonic Blue shows scrathes almost as bad as black. My buddie had one and it was awful.

thank god for silver. My car is loaded with scratches and chips, but on silver, you dont see shit

unless its down through the clear/color they can probably be cut and buffed out
