Lets talk windows. I have tried cleaning mine with windex and newpaper, even using terry cloths, but they still seem streaky. Someone help, please tell me the best thing to use.

Stoners Glass Cleaner. Spray on, spread with 1 microfiber, wipe clean with 2nd microfiber

I also polish and seal my glass with an orbital polisher.

I agree with Stoner's glass cleaner. One of the best OTC products you can get.

i love the Megs glass cleaner concentrate..you can get the Gallon for about 13bucks and it cuts to 10:1 so you get 10gallons worth and i use RO/DI water in mine so i never get any spots or streaking from it.

I get the same results from any window cleaner but YOU MUST use the "2 Towel Method" to get zero streaks.

I have been using CG Glassworkz with great success

Using multiple very clean low nap microfibers is key, one to spread the cleaner and the other to wipe off the streaks. I use 2 for the windshield and both door glass and two for the rear glass and both quarter glass. So I use 4 for my mustang interior, I use the same amount for the exterior so about 8 in total. I use either Mothers Glass or Stoners or Zep Ammonia Free Glass concentrate with distilled water at 1:32 dilution (yes its very concentrated). All that I mentioned are available locally and for glass I dont find its necessary to get a butique product to get the job done. I also use it to clean my guages and electronics.

I compounding the glass will help, but you cant expect to remove deep scratches, do you have a D/A or Rotary polisher?

Thats a good solid built rotary but its very heavy. I had the Makita 9227CX3 (shown in the video below) and thats almost two pounds lighter than the 849 and it still got tired after a day of polishing, so I replaced it with a FLEX PE 14-2. Anyways I suggest before polishing with a rotarty you get some experience with it I suggest getting a scrap panel and practice on there as well as reading this article and seeing this video. Not sure if you already have experience and know how to one properly but heres the information either way.

I'll be sure to watch those. My uncle has also show me in very good detail on how to use them, which pad to use at what time, and how fast and slow to go at times.
