acid rain...

well, acid rain has taken it's tole on my paint. any way to get the acid rain water spots out of the paint other than a respray or wet sanding the whole car?

Most likely they are etched and will need to be compounded and then polished out. But you can try claying the vehicle if they are only mineral water spots they can be removed easily.

How positive are you that it's acid rain? Can you take some photos of it? Why do you say it's acid rain?

i have tryed clay baring the car, cleaner wax, carnuba wax, the turtle wax shit, a lot. i'll snap some pics today if i can.

I bet you this is simply etched water marks. Compounding and polishing is what you need here.

I have a feeling it's etched water spots too. Easy fix, but you're going to need a machine.

well ironically, my dad got a paint polisher for Christmas. but i just want to make it look half decent until it is painted later this year. but after that, how can i protect it other than just wax?
