Looks really nice Danny! That's one hell of a clean Mach 1. And I really love that color, it's just so vivid and unusual, I get whiplash any time I catch it out of the corner of my eye.

Oh man, i cant wait to correct my Mach, its black so the swirls are just THERE lol. they arent super bad, the black is very dark with great shine, just needs a good DA and a whole day of freetime. im gonna get about 3 compounds from autogeek with the griots DA, im scared of the rotary for now, ill step it up later.

I do love that my car is black, but i do miss having a color that pops.

My next car will be either an azure mach or sonic blue 04 cobra. love fords blues.

Hey danny what suggestions do you have as far as compounds. i was thinking Megs 105, Wolfgang swirl remover and Wolfgangs finishing glaze. for a deep and medium cut with a surface polish.

Then either wolfgangs fuzion wax/sealant or Chem Guys body wrap-suggestions?

I know you're asking Danny, but I'll jump in with my opinion:

M105 is great stuff, and finishes down really nice. For your first compounding I'd recommend just trying one compound and one color pad to get used to how the machine works and to see how long it takes to get the swirls out. You may have to do two or more passes and get used to more or less pressure, but it will help familiarize yourself with the process.

Blackfire Wet Diamond looks tits on a black car. ChrisJ will probably agree with me as well since its what he uses on his black Acura and if you want a few ounces to try I can send you some.
I have Natty's Blue coming tomorrow and I'll be putting that over BFWD to hopefully get some serious shine, stay updated.

The first version of M105 may not have been (years ago), but the new formula is definitely DA approved. It does have a bit of a learning curve. Meguiars #83 is a dual-action specific formula with a little less cut.

Well im gonna get a few different compounds and pads, im going to try the Wolfgangs swirl remover with a medium pad first to see if that corrects it enough, if it doesnt, i step up to m105. Im pretty inclined to mechanical processes such as this, its rather simple so i dont think ill have a problem.
Ive got most of my compounds picked out, pads...i probably get a cobra kit.

My debate here is the paint protection, right now im considering wolfgangs fuzion wax/sealant, CG bodywrap, and Blackfire Wet diamond (feel free to send me some lol)

All feedback is appreciated, im gonna do a big order at autogeek once uncle same pays up lol. Griots DA, compounds, pads, MFs, and whatever sealant i choose. Im also considering a foaming sprayer to coat the car before i wash, this helps release dirt and increases lubricity to avoid swirls.

I noticed alot of people layer their wax/sealants, is there an order that is better for protection? sealant then wax? wax then bodywrap?

Sealant then wax. The sealant will last months where the wax will last weeks (typically)

Thats what i figured sealant then wax, im considering this combo...

After wash, dry, clay and correction i would like to do

1. Wlf Chem. Nano shine and seal, to cleanse the pours of the paint beyong what clay can.
Wlf Chem Nano body wrap- 2 coats probably
Then as far as wax goes, id love to use wolfgangs fuzion but its a billion dollars, lol, i like my Megs NXT but im looking to upgrade from OTC products.

nxt isnt a carnuba its a sythetic wax, its more like a sealant than a wax but ive read because its a paste it hardens to a thicker coat.

Ive got alot of my stuff picked out and in my cart at autogeek...

-Griots 6" DA polisher
-Lake Country foam pads, 2 orange, 2 white, 2 red.
-Cobra Mf kit, i have about 20 MFs now including some good mothers ones a big fluffy viking brand drying mf, and some all purpose MFs from the autoparts store (viking brand for detailing). They all seem good quality but i wanna add cobra to my collection and i want one of those MF mitts for washing lol.
-Wolfgangs Total swirl remover and WG finishing glaze. (Also considering adding m105)

Im up to almost 300 bucks in my cart without m105 and sealants yet.

Now i have to decide on sealants, i like WC bodywrap alot, Blackfire too, up for suggestions, danny's azure mach looks retarded good, makes me want the bodywrap. lol
