Microfibers.
I just recently got some of my detailing products and anxious to start, however when I opened up the microfibers they had a weird texture to them, Almost like they needed a wash job? Should I wash them before using them? Also, how do I go about washing them? How often? And after using them do I just drape them over something to let them dry? Inform me!

Defintely wash them before first use, use a dedicated Mf detergent if you have access to it, and I tumble dry them.

Yup. I keep them in 2 Gallon Ziplock bags according to what the intended use is. If they come out of the bag, they get washed.

Which microfibers did you end up getting?
I have a spare 5 gallon bucket I toss them in when they've been used then launder them when its full. Make sure you wash them in a separate load by themselves (NO COTTON) either cold or warm, not hot, and dry on a gentle cycle. |
