Most American vehicles as well as exotics use very hard clears. It is generally a waste of time to start with anything less than M205 on an American or exotic paint. I can pretty much promise you'll waste time not using M105 first on a Mustang though.

The compound i planned on using was the Wolfgang total swirl remover 3.0 its only a little less agressive that the 105. I am most likely going to purchase m105, WG 3.0, WG finishing glaze and the wolfgang fuzion wax/sealant. The WG also says in the product description that it is formulated for todays ceramic clear coats but im still gonna get the m105 as it is very popular deep cut compound.

That way ill have a deep, medium, light cut compounds. Before i do my car ill start with the WG and do a test section and see if it completely gets the swirl out, if it doesnt ill bump it up to m105. Thats my plan now, ill research some other brands too.

I washed, blowdried and clayed my car today, the clay kit was great, took care of the few water spots i had and pretty much everything but the swirls. Its gonna be a couple weeks before i get a DA polisher at which point ill clay again and polish it.

I cant wait to get those swirls out, what are You all's suggestions as far as polishers go, i really like the Grigiot and porter cable, but again, im just starting the research process.

Goin with the Griots ive decided, the flex is WAY too much money, for real, and the griots reviews are off the charts.

Griots is 129 at autogeek, and they sell padpacks with it which save you money.

Any suggestions on pads, the cobras have good reveiws
