I really appreciate you Zinc. I am going to get back after it tomorrow with more real expectations. Definitely no need for the heavy polishing yellow pad?

Ehhh, I wouldn't rule it out. Keep it around. I wasn't a huge fan of the yellow pads. They seemed to bite the dust very quickly because they have no give.

Wool

Rotary.

It depends on the paint though. I've done enough cars to know how the paint should be so I know most of the time just based off the model of the car if I should start with wool or not. If I don't I try to stick with Orange. I've heard good things about the Surbuf pads, but I've never used one so I can't vouch for em.

I have to agree... it seems your issue lies with not following M105 with a less cutting polish. The swirls I see in your paint look very similar to compounding haze.

Go over it a few more times with M105/Orange... follow that up with M205/White .

Thanks, going to try that tomorrow. Hopefully I can find the 205 and finishing polish here locally.

I was able to get the last bottle of 205 from Advanced. No one else carries it anymore. Couldn't find a fine polish.. Any suggestions? Oreillys has a lot stuff but I had no clue what to get.

The only thing of any quality I can find tomorrow would be Adams Fine Machine Polish. I wanted to take care of this over the next 3 days. Would I be better off just applying a sealant for now and waiting for what you guys listed to come in? I am just not sure when I could devote several days again for a while.

If you have the time, the Adams Fine Machine Polish isn't going to hurt anything. Worst case scenario you're just going to get more practice behind the buffer which will make things quicker and easier next time. Since you have the time do a pass or two, see how it looks and when you get sick of that slap some sealant on and roll like that. You really have nothing to lose, so why not?

Well I decided to try option 2.. Go drinking every night while I was off and be too hung over to get anything done. I ordered the Menzerna finishing polish today along with 2 suburf pads.
