Flat Paint

Are there any products for flat paint? Since all the washes out there seem to have wax in them, will this get wax in the flat paint?

Are you talking about a single stage paint? No clear coat?

You won't wax it. You can just apply Quick Detailer. The wash "with wax" is nothing to worry about. That's not really adding wax.

Meticulous Matte Detailer-For Silk Finish & Matt Finish Paint and Clear Bra

They also sell a soap for matte cars that arent clear coated or are dipped but idk if its really needed.

I think they do it with a clearcoat additive. Yeah. It's matte, I guess. Pics later

Oh man that shouldnt be to hard, i thought it was your whole car lol.

Regular soap and a matte detailer should work fine. Check the link Perp posted.

Should I also clay my matte paint. Before someone flames for the bump, it was bump or a new thread.

So, use the matte detailer, and don't clay, right?

yeah I don't see a problem using a fine clay, I might try something like iron-x first as the least abrasion possible would be best to stray from shining the flat paint

Ok, cool. I will make sure to test it out on the underside of my wing where it's hidden before I go and clay my entire hood.
Thanks
