Hyperdressing diluted to 4:1 works wonders as well. However, you'll more than likely have to order it ...

mama, it's not the same, it leaves a bad sheen..
You may want to enlist in online ordering if they are not restocking there.. or stop at the local store here when your in town and stock up..

Did you spray the cleaner on the hood liner then high pressure it off?

Does anyone know what is the best stuff to use to remove the rust proofing gunk the dealerships spray on? A friend has an 2005 and had the dealership spray that junk and the engine compartment looks crappy. He gets jealous of my nice clean engine and wants to get his all cleaned up. I tried some automotive grade simply green, but it was still difficult for that stuff to come off.
Anything else that I can try? |

Not sure if that stuff is oil based or rubber based? If it's oil based, Goo Gone or something similar should take it off. If it's rubber based, doubt you can get it off yourself. Maybe call Ziebart and ask them what they use?

Pretty sure it is oil based. It does come off with the simply green product, but takes alot of wiping.
