So im leaving for about 8 months to travel and i just bought a car cover from ww. carscover .com for my 07 Mustang GT and was wondering if the cover will be able to do its duty for that long of a period in time...any advice?

I would put the car on jack stands to prevent flat spots on the tires as well as adding fuel stabilizer. Other than that the car cover will be good.

+1 It will be fine. It will miss you horribly - but when you reconnect...fun times!

It wouldn't hurt to get a friend or relative to start it up every 2-3 weeks and maybe drive it around the block once a month or so.. that is if you decide to not put it on jackstands.
