Are they plastic? If so I'd use some sort of maybe plastic cleaner. I'm sure there's a product out there specifically designed for plastic cleaning. Check Walmart lol, they usually have an obtuse car detailing isle

Wash it/them with soap and water. Go online and order something called "black again"(autopia.com). It will bring back the black and it will protect it from further sun damage. You have to apply it every so often but it definitely makes the shine come back.

edit: I think some auto stores will carry a spray can bottle version of this, you may want to look around, although it won't have the same name. I forget what its called but the discription will say something about protecting and making the trim look black again and the spray should smell fruity lol

Im not bashing armorall or saying dont use it but with my experiance painting i will never use armorall again. The reason i say that is because for some reason it seems like it takes an act of God to get it clean enough again to paint without fisheyes happening. I know alot of people love it and some will even disagree with me im sure but it is just my opinoin on armor all.

armorall protectant on the chin and shaker isnt going to hurt anything though.. you shouldnt be lathering it on. Just a little bit on a rag will make them black and shiny. I use it on the chin spoiler, wiper cowl, mirrors, and honeycomb to get that shiny black. Never had any issues with it, just dont over do it.

Just like tire shine, if you put too much its going to sling all over the side of your car and make a greasy dirty mess.
