8 rib pulley
Quick question... On a supercharged car 2003 mustang GT (vortech) if u wana run a 8 rib pulley(on the charger) would you have to change the rest of the pullies to match it. I would think soo but just wana make sure. Thanks in advance

Ok i found out ita a 8 rib kit and its kinda pricy....

you dont ezactly have to convert all the other pullies to 8 rib but you run the risk of the belt sliding a rib possibly

Yes, you have to convert all the pullies to 8 rib in order to run a proper 8 rib setup. You'll also need some spacers to move the supercharger and idler brackets back away from the engine a little to allow for the extra space the 8 rib kits take up.
The 8 rib kits will run in the ballpark of $600 + $500 install average.

just get the stock pullies off a expiditon, or a naviagator.....same thing, but are 8 rib. thats what i did a while ago...i think i payed arround 350 for everything..i also have a water pump pully 8 rib if interested
