5? That's not accurate tinting value really, but it may be dark. You will get tickets.

You can probably get away with like, 50 to 60. Seriously.

yeah but shouldnt the lower the number....like 10%...shouldn't that be darker than 35%???would it be worth my money to get it tinted darker and not ahve a warranty? cuz if it gets bubbles in it im screwed! the warranty is only a year but still...idk what to do...woudlnt a 5 be 50%?? .im still confused on the number system..like if the state law is 35% then wouldn't 20% be darker??

lower the percentage, darker the tint. Its not hard to remove the bubbles anyway, get a credit card, and a needle, poke a hole in where the bubble is, and press out with the credit card.

Yeah my bad sorry I was out of it, I meant lower but 5 isnt valid because it'd be seriously, almost pitch black.

+1 on cobra, my window tint was done poor (the one on it that was on it) and some bubbles came, i took an old CC that Capital One tried to get me to sign up for and a safety pin. Smooth it, poke it, smooth it some more.

Sounds kinda kinky... ah you sicko. USE a safety pin.

i have 18% on my black mustang & it's perfect.. illegal, but perfect for me.. it's black enough to match the paint you can't really see inside but it's not so dark that it gets the cop's attention!! 18% is definately the way to go... i've even been pulled over for speeding & pulled up to a license check without them saying anything to me about it...

$100 by me to have my windows tinted, you also need to get some special material for the inside of the windows, mole skin or window felt, i forget the name of it, cause there is something in the window that scratches the tint, its a well known problem on the 05+ Mustangs, people have had their windows tinted and when the window goes up there's a big scratch on the tint.

DUDE...

You do what you want it's your car... no offense. i am getting mine done tomorrow at 20%,and maybe the back window darker. the legal in s.c. is 35% i'm pretty sure, but ima go with 20% it's dark enough but light enough to still see out of. you can go dark as you want on any window other than the driver and passenger they have to be 35% (by law) and anywhere you go that will go darker isn't going to leave a trail that can get them in trouble so that's why you may pay more, and won't get a reciept and so forth.

Yeah but we can give him a close estimate, he was guessing. Haha, he's like me -- likes to just get an idea.
