Centri's can, some do, some dont. Some have bypass valves. Are you talking about those or a root style, like a kenne bell?

which centri? I have a bypass valve that was going to go on mine, you can just have it release into the atmosphere. Not sure if theres much else, but you CAN have a bov, but i dont think you specifically need one, could be wrong. Someone else can chime in, but your stock, with a 9lb pulley? no other mods?

You have to have a bov or bypass valve (essentially the same thing, a bypass can be run just like a bov). If you don't, as soon as you let off the gas and the throttle body closes, you are going to get a lot of compressor surge.

If you are running a draw-thru (maf before the supercharger), you will have to recirculate the air back in after the maf. This is usually done with a bypass valve. You have to recirculate with a draw-thru setup since the air is metered and the bypass valve is after the maf.

If you are running blow thru (maf after the supercharger), then you can vent to the atmosphere or bypass it back in. You can do this as long as your bov/bypass valve is placed before the maf air sensor.

that man speaks the truth! (but if you run blow thru, always vent)
