noises in my 02 (non engine related)

I've got a couple of noises that I'd like to track down and fix as cheaply as possible. Looking for anyone with experience or general input into these problems

1st: Drivers side door makes a squeak when I open it. It seems to actually be related to the handle mechanism, not the door hinges

2nd: Clutch pedal/cable: I get a sound and some friction/resistence from underneath the car when I push in the clutch cable. It's not the cable, quadrant or pedal assembly. It could be a bearing, spring or something else is shot in the transmission itself. In anycase, it's really squeaky as I push the clutch pedal in and out.

3rd: knockin or banging with the convertible top when i go over bumps. It's water tightly shut but it still makes some annoying noise. Do I need to replace the rubber up there or could it possibly be something else?

1) lube the door latch and hinges with a good quality lube and see if it goes away.

2) sounds as if the throwout bearing is noisy

3) really hard to say. I don't know of any common areas for noises on the top. give me some more details and I'll try to help

1.) Fixed

2.) Getting it checked out further.

3.) Hard to explain. I may be riding a bit harsher than stock because my rubber spring isolaters are shot and I'm riding on bilsteins HDs. In anycase, it might be the pins (the ones that lock in to close the roof) that are knocking or it could be some other contact metal/metal contact point I'm not noticing.

try putting something around the pin and see if the rattle stops. if it does, try adjusting the top down slightly with the j-bolts

update:
Ordered Spec Stage II clutch and Steel Flywheel.

I'll try dampening the pins tonight.

Thanks again for all the help.
