how many of you ever had light switch problems on your stang

ive tried everything in and out all the most complicated with my tailight wiring. went through a million fuses like a jackass then replaced bulbs took the dash off check behind the gauges. my tailights dont work at all, brake and turns are fine. so i was talking to my freind about the problem and he just off the bat told me it was the light switch itself. did many of you guys have this problem before like mine? i didnt check it myself yet but i was jsut wondering if many of you went through this.

87-93 Mustangs are known for headlight switch failures. It is more common on GTs though because of the extra load on the switch from the fog lights.

i have had problems with mine... had to replace the actual switch! im not sure about the tailights but when i would drive down the road at night i guess the extra load would make my switch get hot and all the sudden my damn lights would cut off... i would turn em off and turn them back on and that usually worked for a few min until they would cut off again... that really use to suck!
