Starting up my car

My mustang starts really slow in the morning, and sometimes makes a clicking noise after it finally kicks over, but quickly goes away. Is my starter or selenoid goin out?

As opposed to starting fast? Give us some more info on it. What is happening? Does it take a long time to turn over? Does it take a long time to fire up? Where is this clicking noise coming from? What year and what type is you mustang?

It starts to turn over really slow, then starts to kick over, then the engine turns on, followed by a few clicks. The entire process doesnt take more than 3 seconds, but its not normal.

It's a 1999 Mustang V6, and the clicking is coming from the hood..
