newbie duh door question.

ok, i cant figure this one out, just got a new to me mustang 84 t top car. the door seems to be half way open and half way closed. we cant get it open, the door panel is off of it, and the inner and outer door handles seem to actuate but wont budge. brain is about fried. any imput on what i need to do or mess with. thank you ahead of time for the help.

did you use force? go from the inside and put your shoulder into it?

ok, the door hinge couuld be jacked too maybe, who knows, but yea the only other thing i could think of is the latch, so maybe something on the inside of the door is preventing it from working right. Hope you figure it out

me too im going bonkers, i just got it tonight this will be my only my third stang and first 4 headlight one, lol. im being converted by kid down road, who is my guru on stangs. im an ex x brand guy. then went in one ride in his 93 cobra back when, and it was all over.

yeah put shoulder into it and it opened, but is having trouble open and shut, i see pins are needed and bushing on body part of latch, been told might be latch. either way shes open, so thank you very much. im running into other problems. may have to ask this somewheres else but. cant get her to run, the people i got it from said had to dump gas in it to run, well i thought they ment empty tank, put 5gal of 93 in it, it wants to catch when first starting, but not running, pump is pumping, coil is firing, cap and rotor firing, but the duraspark?? box, the gel or what ever it is seems to be leaking out from behind it, is it a part that is an either go or no go, or can it work not work work not work kinda thing. i dont want to buy one if thats not the problem. just curious. thanks
