gas tank size


so im trying to calculate my fuel milage on my 98 V6 but i have no idea how big my tank is. how many gallons does it hold?

try edmunds.com they have all the specs for your car

15.7 Gallons as per specs listed by autotrader.com.

Useful site to look up general car specs by the way.. Edmunds is also good but their site seems a little cluttered...

I've found the most accurate way to calculate fuel mileage (which doesn't even require that you know the fuel capacity) is to simply top off your tank, drive in city/highway whichever you're checking, until you're about to 1/4 tank, then top it off again, use your trip meter to see how far you've gone and do the math based on how much fuel it takes to top it off again! You can do the same thing with an entire tank over a longer period of time, but neither requires that you know the fuel capacity.
