Longtubes or no?

I'm getting ready to do my exhaust, I already have some pacesetter longtubes, but I drive my car alot and I don't want to have to pay someone to replace a gasket every 4 months.
Better to just leave the stock manifolds or put on the headers?
Power difference?

well sell your pacesetters and get a good set of headers if you are going to replace them. And yes headers are definately a good investment but don't waste your money on shorties. Stick with l/ts. Decent brands are SLP, BBK, MAC along with a few others.

If you go with long tubes don't lower your car too much, because they can make your exhaust scrape. They do give you good power boost. If you do long tubes doo the entire ehaust system at once. Headers won't mean much if your mid pipe and exhaust are still restrictive. Get a set of Magnaflow magnapack exhaust and a SLP or Bassani X pipe for long tubes.

Ideal would be the mid length headers the cobras have, but not an option. Long tubes are not worth it less you have a SC and you can't drop your pony so now you have a loss of handeling. Get some shorties or custom fab mid length headers.
