Hi Flow Cats?

I got a 06 mustang.
4.0L V6
Manual Gear box
4:10 gears
Cold air Intake
Dual Exhaust
2.5" pipe replaces 2.25" pipes
Custom H pipe
FlowMaster Super40 Mufflers
SCT livewire tuned for 91 oct and CAI

If i remove both of the OEM catalytic converters and replace them with Magnaflow hi-flow Converters what kind of power increase can I expect? Would it be worth the price? I can get 2 for 160.00.

If it is not worth it, what can I get to add more power to the V6 for close to the same cost? I have heard of Spark plug wires, certain type of spark plugs or headers. However short tube people say no, and only go with long tube. however long tube are +300.00.

I live in a metro city so going Cat-less is not an option.

you will gain next to nothing swapping the OEM cats with aftermarket ones. The sound will improve but that is about it. I have heard that cat(s) steal about 5-10hp per cat but since you are retaining them you will not see any gains.

I would say for the 160 go and get it dyno tuned to squeeze out maybe a couple more ponies...about the only thing I can think of for that price with your setup.
