Which Hood? Fiberglass or Metal?

Im in search for a new hood for my V6 but im unsure of what hood to get. I found a fiberglass hood made by cervinis Part # 1176, but i have heard to stay away from fiberglass and stick with the aluminum or metal hoods. The stock hood was $1200 and i cant spend that much on it. I was in a small collision that caused the hood to crumple in the crumple zone. Some say on fg hoods you can see ever defect especially because my car is black.....im just lost at this point

What should i do?

If you have a all out drag car or something or just dont worry about how your car looks go fg if not go metal if you have the option. Take it from a body man/painter fg hoods become really wavy from heat of the motor. Steel wont.

go with fiberglass. just buy a good one and you wont have any issues with it fitting right.
