Changing front brakes, 95 Mustang, problem!
Changed out the rear brakes and calipers, and the front left one, but upon popping off the front right tire I found that the 2 bolts which mount the caliper are stripped. 1 needed a hex screw which is pretty much rounded out and the other is an odd bolt, which seems to have notches in it. If I could figure out what tool would be used for this I would be able to take it off, but I'm clueless as to what it would be.
It's similar to a hex bolt, except each side has a notch in it. If anyone knows what tool to use, please let me know, other wise, I'm semi fucked as my pads are in dire need of a change! Oh, 95 Mustang, V6, all stock brakes if that makes a difference. |

well its not a hex do not use a hex or u will damage the bolt more. what u need is called a torx bit , it is star shaped i think u need a t45 or t50 size available anywhere , just go to autozone they have them they are like 10 dollars or less>>>
