turboing a six? is it hard?


what would it take to turbo a six. i got a t3 turbo off an eagle talon, would it be hard to turbo my 2000 v6 mustang???

are you sure the turbo is big enough to support your engine?

turbo


i would think so since it's only a six, and i heard of another v6 mustang that was running about 3 psi turbo..

it should be like doing a V8 except 2 less cyl.
youll need to run both exhausts to the turbo but in your case get another T3 because the one T3 wont be able to take all the exhaust pressure if both headers were connected to it, but if you had a bigger turbo than you would but get another T3

that turbo wont do you any good. too weak

i might be getting another one this weekend!!!! what kind of piping should i use for the turbo and intercooler????

uhhh...exhaust pipe, pvc, custom pipes
pvc is cheaper

PVC??? How the hell can pvc be used to in a vehichle. I'd think that the vibrations alone would start to crack it let alone the heat or in the winter the cold. But anyway what's the easiest way to double turbo charge a 98 v6. What turbo's do you recomend.
