Are you getting the catted mid pipe for inspection only? If so get a Bassani X. It comes both O/R and catted. The cats only bolt on so the rest of the year you can take them off and only put them on for inspection. It takes like 15 minutes to do. I also suggest magnaflow magnapack exhaust. In my opinion one of the best exhaust on the market. It's a straight through so you'll get your HP gains and it has a resinator type muffler so you car will have that old school muscle car sound. I do not advise SLP LM unless you get SLP LM 2. The LM 1 system sounds good at idle, but sounds shitty at higher RPMs.

just because the cats are bolt on does'nt mean they come right off. ask any muffler shop and the'll tell you the same thing. i brought my car in to get my ceramic cats replaced w/steel cats and i sat there and watched them fight w/it for 1.5 hours w/all the tools they ended up cutting one of the cats off.(the cats were only on for two weeks in the first place. so when they say "switch to off road in minutes" yeh they don't specify how many minutes.

i would go w/x pipe w/steel cats and mac mufflers

Except I know someone that owns a Bassani X (which is why I bought mine) and I actually watched him do it in his garage on ramps. He puts some kind of thick ass grease on it though. You would think it would burn up on those hot ass pipes. I don't know what it was. At the time I only had a V6 so I was going to do mods. He tapped his a couple of times with a wrench and they loosened right up and came right off.
