cant open my fuel door!!

i've got an 89 with the electronic fuel door release... however i do not have an engine, battery, or any electrical... so how do i get the fuel door open? there must be a manual mechanism or something, but anyone have a clue where it is?

Pry-bar will fix it....

haha i was thinking maybe a cutting wheel to the quarter panel... but who wants to wreck nice paint!!

Have you called a ford dealership?

no i have not called a dealership yet... although the chiltons manual was of no use

hmmm, tricky, you could try taking the rear intior out on that side, try to find the wires, tap into them and hook a battery up to it to get it to open, thats the hard way, the easy way is yes, a pry-bar
