General Header Question.. I'm going to be honest; i'm a noob when it comes to a lot of things involving upgrading my engine. I just joined this site today and i have a general question about headers which might be stupid; but hey im learning. Whats the difference in Long tube headers and shorty headers? I have the pypes exhaust upgrade on my 2007 mustang gt with x-pipes which headers would be best for that?

Shorty headers are factory lenth & long tube headers are longer of course and require a short x or h pipe & can be a bit more of a pain to work around if you ever need to pull the tranny out for any reason but supposed to give a little more HP over shortys.
If you look them up & find pics then you can easily tell the difference. |
