when (if) to change the fluid?
just wondering if there is a reason to change the fluid in the top pump? if so what's the deal around it.. I'm a 3rd owner so I'm bascally going over everything like it wasn't done to cover the whole car..

No. If the top is working just fine, then there's no need to change it.
