Help Muahh

I have recently had some squeaking while turning and going over bumps, very annoying.

I jacked up the end of the car it was coming from (left front) and gave the tire the ol shake test for the balljoint/ tie rod.

While shaking the tire side to side there was a lot of play (as well as sqeak) , indicating a worn tie rod correct? Btw i had the right front replaced last yr, i know shoulda had them both done.

Does this mean i need a new outer tie rod or inner?

it can either be your tie rod or even your ball joints
