Headers

Were is a good place to start looking for headers? And is there anything special that I need to know? I have the stock set up. I think.. Headers are suppost to all bend and allow the same lenght of back pressure build up per cylender, right? If that is the case, none of my do, currently....

nope not the case. Because there are such things an unequal length headers. All headers do is allow for exhaust gasses to exit your block, and give a place for them to go. But they are necessary since if you run without them you won't have any backpressure, and you will burn up your valves. Now under certain circumstances, you don't want any backpressure at all, but no street car is under those circumstances.

Now what kind of headers do you think you want? Long tube or shorty? Are you goin with a poweradder or not? If so are you going with any kind of turbo setup?

shorties would go to the stock exhaust and are better for turbo systems. long tubes are freer flowing and provide a better sound and hp gain but require an after market mid pipe.
