Headlight Issue

This will sound crazy; but my left headlight went out on my 2000 mustang. I replaced the bulb and checked the fuse to ensure they were fine; however, the light will still not come on. Has anyone had any experience on what could be keeping this headlight from coming on? Is there a switch somewhere, or a relay for the headlights; please advise?

im going to guess the wiring, since its not the fuse or the bulb! do some checks to make sure you have good connections and nothing tampered with the wires... aka, a mouse.

if the fuses are good and the bulb is, like said above, it's probablly gonna be a wiring problem somewhere. check to see if you have power and ground at the bulb.

Check the socket. On my wife's focus, her socket quit making contact with the ground on the bulb. Wouldn't hold the wire tight. Got another socket from a junkyard, spliced it in and all was good.
