1990 LX Notch 5.0

BBK Shorty Headers
BBK Offroad Xpipe
Flowmaster's cut off right past the muffler (got these used from a wrecked GT.)

Love the rasp Soooooooooooo much better than the H pipe...here's what I don't like... IT WILL MAKE YOURS EARS BLEED ON LONG TRIPS!

I don't want the usual LX pipes out the ass end... and yet I don't want dumps.. anyone ever seen someone come out UNDER the axle with a small pipe, and turn it at about a 25 degree angle to point out in the direction between the back tire and the gas tank?

Sounds real good!^^^

Custom x-pipe 2 1/2"
Flowmaster original series
w/ turn downs

what i like about it- raspy, low rumble, no drone on highway speeds

what i dislike- not as loud as it was before i added the turn downs.... but less of a headache..

plaining on getting some SLP Loud mouths, what ones do u guys prefer?
i want to have tailpipes again, but i want it louder than what i have now!

Make and Model- 1989 FORD Mustang 5.0 GT turned LX

Engine Size/# of Cyl- 302ci 8cyl

Exhaust set up- MAC ceramic unequal length shortys, BBK Off-Road H-Pipe, Flowmaster Super 44's Stock LX 2 1/4 Stainless tailpipes

What you like about your set up- It has that mean Mustang Only sound, loud in all gears even 5th, doesnt brake up and sounds awesome with the f cam..

What you dislike about your set up- had no tailpipes so sound like crap under fat GT ground effects and bumper, and now with LX stuff and tailpipes..nothing else to complain bout..but still gunna upgrade to LT's, X-pipe, and stay w/ the 44's or SLP LM1!!!!

Make and Model:

2004 Black Mach1

Engine Size/# of Cyl:

281 4.6 V8

Exhaust set up:

Kooks Longtubes
Kooks Catted X
Borla Stingers

What you like about your set up:

Sounds great. Gave me a bit of a power gain. Turns a lot of heads : ) Sounds and feels like a completely different car.

What you dislike about your set up:

The headers were a pain to install. Regardless of blood, sweat, tears, and lots of swearing, it was worth it.

Sup everyone im a newbie here....I have a stock '02 GT 5spd v8

Im thinkin of getting SL Loudmouth II for my exhaust. I was omnly gonna get that but as i read through some posts i realized that it would still be a lilttl buit quieter.

So im thinkin of gettin an h-pipe i listened to all the exhaust clips and they sound pretty bad ass....How are the Loudmouths? i cant decide between that or Borla.

Model:
'02 Mustang Coupe

Engine:
3.8L V6 @ 232C.I.

Set up:
BBK Chrome Shorty Headers
Pypes Catted X-Pipe
GT take-off Duals

Likes:
Finally have a dual exhaust system. Alright tone

Dislikes:
Chrome plate on headers lasted about half hour. Also it's pretty quiet for my tastes. Need some different mufflers or dumps.
