How would I acomplish this?

Hope this is in the right section, if not sorry.

I am getting ready to buy my first Mustang, a 2000 GT. I do not know anything about cars so I'm pretty much new to all of this but am a fast learner.

Now for my question. I was wanting my Mustang to sound like a "drag car" and have been told that I can not accomplish this by simply adding a new exhaust system and that I would have to do work to the engine it self?

So in shot, I guess I'm asking. How exactly would I make a GT sound like this?

Change out mid pipes to off road H and pick up any catback.... that car might have cam work though

Ha ha, you wish you could change your exhaust to make your car sound like that.

Actually, all you have to do is unhook the correct vacuum hose and your car will do that to.

LOL ^ true enough.

That likely has full exhaust. (Long Tube headers, mid pipe, no cats, and a cat back) cams, and a tune.
