Hello, I bought a 2001 center console to put in my 2000 so i could shift without spilling drinks. I looked all over and no guide to remove the console said anything about the e brake but i could not get the original console out without unbolting the e brake from the floor. Well the e brake cable retracted back into the car and think i have found out how to fix that here Help Needed Asap but once i get that fixed how do I install the new console without removing the e brake? Is it possible? everyone who posted on the guides i found online made it sound so easy but i have been struggling at this for 4 hours and only managed to create many problems. Thank you for your help.
