Tokico strut question *pics*

I bought these struts on Ebay and they don't look right to me. That silver cap makes them look incomplete. I have yet to find a photo of 1999 V6 struts from Tokico that look like these. Has someone installed these, did they look like this???

Any numbers on the housing of the shock if so drop a line and i will see if there in stock and what they look like and possibly find a application and year.

is there any gunk or thread marks on the top of the strut or a dust ring where the baring plate sits? That is a telltale sign of being on a car. Nothing will get the ring off. Unless a repaint, but that would require a lot of work and time. Not something most would do to cover up installation.

that cap is just a re-inforcement plate for the strut. Don't sweat it, it's ok.
