Differences between normal Shocks and Digressive shocks

ive been wondering this for awhile and i tried to find a thread already asking the same question so i wouldnt be making a double thread but couldnt find one...

so basically my question is whats the difference between normal shock systems and digressive ones? tired looking on the sites that had them listed but there wasnt an explanation of differences on there...

and what are they ment for? like race applications, street performance ect ect.. stuff like that..

What is a digressive shock? Where have you seen that? I've never heard of them.

You have to search for the part # and it still said nothing. From a goggle search it sounds like it is just a self-adjusting piston inside the shock that adjusts to the road conditions. That's all I found.

My suggestion would be to contact the manufacturer since there is a link to their site here now. Since they make the shocks, they can answer the questions better than anyone.
