Pypes Exhaust

has anyone heard much about pypes exhaust? i found a cat back system with a catted x pipe for under 500$. does anyone know if these are any good?

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6ypcb.htm#1 its the bottom one on the page

i havent heard much about pypes, but i havent heard anything bad about them? what do yall say? what do yall think about pypes?

they are one of the only people that i have seen with a catted x pipe. i was going to go with mac exhaust until i learned that i would need a catted x pipe.

Pypes information

If you are looking on RPMOutlet I have n idea how you can't find catted X pipes. The Bassani, Bassani Bx and the SLP X pipes on that site all come in catted. AmericanMuscle.com has plent too. That's not even counting ebay.

do you know if a 99 mustang needs the 02 extensions on pypes exhaust? americanmuscle says no for the comparable bbk x pipe (they say only for '04) but on rpm it says 99-04

I believe on most X pipes it is only on the '04 model. Other brands may differ.

Sorry, but next time you might want to tell me that your car is a V6. I never clicked the link and my psychic abilities are a little off now-a-days. LOL I don't advise the top setup but from the pick of the bottom setup they don't look any different than a GTs X pipe. Write thier customer service. I used to do it all the time when I had questions. I had a '04 3.9L and could never find parts listed for a 3.9L just a 3.8L. They were the ones that told me they are exactly the same. Even if you buy an X pipe for a GT I'm pretty sure a good speciality shop can make it work for you. Don't quote me on that.

I think the bottom set would be great for a V6. Acmillr on here has pypes and he highly recommends them. Of course his are catless and on a GT.

i just got my pypes from blueovalindustries.com and they are located in virginia. they had the best price i have found. of course, i have a GT but my kit was only $198.00 plus tax and shipping. the V6 kit should be cheaper.

sounds great by the way.
