V-Force Mufflers?

Im getting my car turned into dual exhaust. The only problem is the only guy that does it in my town likes to sell HIS products. I went in there wanting flowmaster 40 deltas and he said they were crap and that they would rust out in three years. He said he would put them on my car for me but it would cost me around five hundred and fifty dollars. Im still in highschool so I cant really afford that. He was saying that the best kind of mufflers were Red Deer mufflers and Ive never even heard of those. He was going to but Xcellerator mufflers on my car but I couldnt really find any details about those either. Then I looked around and found Force Pro-Series mufflers and I listened to the clip of them on a V6 and they sounded good. So I printed off the details of the pro-series and showed it to the muffler guy and he said that those were made exactly like V-Force mufflers and would cost me about the same. So I finally said whatever as long as it is around four hundred dollars thats fine. I was just wondering if any one else has V-Force Mufflers on there V6 and how they sound............I know I should've gotten flowmaster but I could'nt of afforded it.

Umm is $400 only getting you mufflers and installation? Or is he making you a dual exhaust + mufflers + install for $400? Shoulda went with the force pros they're cheap and just as good if not better than flowmasters.

I got the v-forces and I thing they sound pretty good. Of course I think anything sounds better than the stock. I'll probably upgrade later but happy with it for now. I got the GT setup and two v-forces and installed and everything for 452 dollars

vforces should have been cheap. I got 2 flow super 40's for 375 installed. I have heard good stuff about the v-force our muffler shop has them on an old El Camino SS and it sounds good. But the v-force should be a lot cheaper than flows, also deltas don't sound to good on the v6 so vforces were probably a good choice
