installing catbacs
Hi All
New to the site,it,s great. I just bought a set of flowmaster catbacks for my 1999 ragtop,it is a 35th anniversary modle,4.6 litre.I do have one question,is it as easy as the company says to install this,I,m assuming I can almost do this in my drive way from the sounds of it,or is it no a bolt up unit like they say.I store this car in the winter so it has no rust at all,not even on the original mufflers,so all bolts will come off. thanks Matt |

Are the orginal exhaust welded on? I think they might be. The hard part usually isn't getting the new one on, it's getting the old one off.

jack up the car.
let the axle hang. cut the tailpipes right behind the muffler. slide out the tailpipes. 4 bolts and shes off.
