baer brake kit problem

we have a rear brake kit kit on the rear and the kit came with black spacers. those spacers were on before we swapped our rear end to a gt rear end. mechanic put spacer on with gt rear end, now theres a severe rubbing which we think is the caliper rubbing on the rotor. would taking the spacer out fix this problem? or should we get the spacer machined thinner or the rotor machined to solve this problem. anybody with knowledge of baer brake kits please help!!! thanks

are you sure that is where it is rubbing? a lot of baer brakes require a 17" wheel-

you might want to check w/ baer or the company you bought your wheels from.. ive seen some 17s that wont work w/ baer's eradispeed brake system.. they usually have a disclaimer about it though..

to be honest, im not sure.. all i know is that ive seen wheels at american muscle for instance that have disclaimers the they wont work with that baer system.. i guess just ask about any known compatibility issues
