Focus fuel pump install question.
I know that this install is a simple drop in plug and play, but there is one thing I'm unsure of thats not addressed in any threads.
Do you need to swap the rubber vibration damper on your stock pump over to the focus pump or can you just leave the rubber vibration damper from the focus pump on it? The reason I ask is because after close inspection, I noticed that the rubber piece from the focus will make the pump sit slightly higher in the basket, possibly restricting flow just a little bit. For you guys who have done this install, what you did you do in regards to this? Thanks |

I just installed the whole basket and swapped over the harness.

I'm not going to install the focus basket and swap over the harness when it's really unecessary because I can just use the stock one.
So can anyone who used their stock basket answer this question for me? Which vibration dampner did you use in the stock basket? The focus one, or the stock mustang one? |
