Help On Pick Exhaust


i am going to get dual exhaust on my 95 mustang and i wanted to know how much it would cost to convert a single exhaust into a dual the auto shop said i need 2 new catback 2 cat convert 2 mid pipes and a whole lot more it 750 alot or no what schould i do. schould i go for it or schould i by all the peices and then go for it or what ?

Your shop is stupid. Tell them to cut the Y-pipe into 2 separate pieces after the cats and weld on tubing all the way back and put your mufflers of choice (or whatever the shop has) on it. then tell them to weld on a crossover bar and that will take care of your mid pipe. Should cost no more than 400 bucks

if the shop is doing it for 750 that sounds kinda high unless they are using like all name brand stuff check out prices at websites like http://www.rpm-mustangs.com

edit** i know the new edge do.. i understand some things after different with your model but i still would think the s197 sixers would come stock w/ y
