How hot should a Procharger P1SC get?

I installed mine about a month back and I'm wondering if they're supposed to get this hot?

After normal freeway driving it seems to be hot enough that I can just barely keep my hand on the P1SC unit itself.

Is that normal?

Well its metal and its in the engine bay, that seems normal.

Yeah that's normal. Actually I wouldn't expect to be able to touch it at all.

Well it is offset from the engine by what, like 6 2.75" spacers so it's really mostly hot from whatever heat it creates itself.

Never said I was human...

i would guess it's hot from internal friction, even though it runs on oil. plus it's an air compressor. grab onto an air compressor's head unit sometime when it's running, same effect lol.
