Suspension on the cheap

Anyone have any ideas on how I can make some inexpensive upgrades to mys suspension on my 88 stang gt convertible? I believe I'm still running everything stock except sub frame connectors.

ck and make sure all the bushings, ball joints, etc are good. Then springs, shocks and struts. Will handle like a totally different beast.

Thanks. Should I go with a complete bushing set or get the parts seperately? If with the set anyone know the cheapest place?

Buy a set of the Summit Racing (Granettelli made) cheapy rear upper and lower control arms. They are cheap in price but they are very effective. Then throw the factory quad shocks in the garbage.

Im not all that sure, they were on the car when I got it. Ive done buschings before tho and its not too terribly hard just time consuming b/c you hace to tear the suspension al down to do them.

the hardest part of the bushing install is removing the old ones, which can be hard to do but other than that, it's really pretty easy and the benefits are worth the time and $$. It will probably be cheaper to buy them individually if you are upgrading the upper and lower control arms since they already come with them.

yes, you'll see a big difference with just control arms.

Many crooks too. I'll never buy another thing off that site. I haven't found an honest person there yet.
