RPMs wont go down!
Not really sure where to post this. I saw the Engine/Drivetrain place but its dead and saw people posting here. Move if needed.
So I'm having trouble with my RPMs. The problem is, my RPMs are sticking and won't go down. If I downshift, then they will just go up 1-2k more, and stick there. It starts to happen once I drive 2~ miles from start-up, and it will consist until I turn the car off. Even when I put it in neutral, the revs stay high and won't move. I cleaned the IAC/Throttle body + replaced throttle cable. 98 Mustang GT (5 spd) If anything else is needed, let me know! Thanks in advance! |
