Supercharger belt

I just ordered a replacement belt for a powerdyne supercharger, model BD-11A. It just arrived and since I know nothing about engines, etc, I was wondering if the belt stretches at all, looks awfully small to fit around the top and bottom pulleys. If someone can help me out a little I would appreciate, before I go to the shop and look like an idiot. Thanks in advance. The belt I ordered is supposed to be a replacement for this model and it is about 6" long

Im just takin a wild guess here- maybe u could loosen the blower bolts and move it down a lil bit for clearance for the belt, Ive never seen a setup like that in person

two things, one if you got the part number from powerdyne dont count on it being correct. I had one and they had the WORST customer service on the planet. I would never buy from them again.

the other thing is, no the belt will not stretch, at least not that way, it may strecth a little under use and stress, but not much.

PS- once you nail down the right belt size, get the same size from a company called Gates. They make excellent belts with zero stretch

It might be the right belt...You should be able to put the end of a rachet in the tensioner and be able to turn the tensioner inward then put the belt on and let the tensioner make it nice and snug...

I have not messed with powerdyne in a long time so things could have changed...
