Water Leaking please help
I noticed the other day that my temperature was going up slightly. I made it to work just as the the temp. hit the top of the gauge. There was steam coming from under the intake on top of the engine. I let it cool down then came back later in the day and filled it with water. I was able to drive it home and the temp never spiked again, but we did notice that it was dripping water pretty quickly from somewhere. I will also note that we heard some bearings grinding, so the automatic assumption was the water pump.
I just spent 2 hours replacing the water pump and the gasket behind it. I put it all back together, and i'll be damned if it wasn't still leaking water from somewhere.
Tomorrow I am going to pull off the water pump, again, and make sure I didn't mess up on the gasket, but if I can get some more ideas on what to look for I would greatly appreciate it. I know very little about engines. My brother in law helped me, but he only works on chevy's and doesnt know much about ford engines. Please give me any relevant info you think might help. Thanks
